The purpose of this site is for you to learn more about Reese, and the multiple businesses he has started and is active in today. You will see various logos on the left hand side, each business logo will link to the respective home page of the company so you can find out more information.

Reese has been influenced mainly from the school of hard knocks along with a strong family back ground from his Grandfather and Father. His parents have been married still to this day and he has always had a core value system in place from his family. His Mother has always been there for him and he is very similar to her with some of his qualities.

As you read on, please remember we are all products of our environment, and what you believe in will affect your daily life, and success. America is changing permanently in all aspects of our existence socially, morally and ethically. A businessman, must be prepared for a changing environment.

In today's world of people in the business world not doing what they say they are going to do, you will respect and enjoy Reese's character, observations and philosiphies.

Here are a few facts and opinions of Reese Freyer:

1. ACCOMPLISHMENTS - He accomplishes anything he puts on his goal sheet, and is always thinking of other ventures to pursue. He accomplishes his goals by planning ahead and setting a game plan to do so.

2. TRUTH - He tells things the way they are and does not sugar coat anything. As I get older, I cannot remember anything I do, so that is why I must always tell the truth.

3. FRANKNESS - "What you see is what you get" with him. He speaks the truth.

4. BUSINESS PHILOSOPHY - One of his philosphies is to, "Be a tough businessman, but do not be tough to do business with." 

5. REINVENTING THE WHEEL - "Do it right the first time." There is no time to re do daily tasks, administrative issues and chores, and re inventing the wheel on many items. People waste hours re inventing the wheel every day. Group appointments, and manage your time.

6. MISTAKES - We all make mistakes. The problem is making the same mistake over and over. If you keep doing something the same way, you will have the same result. I see people selling real estate keeping their asking price the same after months on the market. And solve problems fast. If you know it is going to be a problem, get on a solution now and DO NOT put your head in the sand.

7. TIME - Your time is gold, and really equivalent to money. Starting over is time consuming and wastes energy. Plan ahead and you will not be faced with starting over and doing things over again, and again.

8. PAYING YOUR DUES - Many people do not want to pay their dues with a business. I have seen people given millions of dollars at an early age and all the money is gone by age 35. These people have never paid their dues, and when all the money is gone, they are older and having to start over. Many abuse alcohol, drugs, or simply give up. Remember, you will also need to pay your dues in anything you do, and many people do not have the patience of time. We all want to walk in the convenience store and scratch off the lottery ticket and walk away with $500,000.00 versus working for it.

9. ANTICIPATION - In our business environment today, people have a hard time anticipating future events. We all know our taxes are due on the 15 April, and we know when the 4 of July, Thangsgiving and Christmas are on the schedule. Why not anticipate your business responsibilities and plan ahead. There is software to assist in this management, but in the long run, you will be more efficient and manage your time better both business wise and personally if you anticipate. Why not take an hour a week, and plan your days.

10. NEGATIVE INFLUENCES - They are everywhere in America. Have you heard the saying, "You are what you eat?" Well, it s also true as well with, "You  are what you think." The television in my opionion is the demise of society and a cause of many problems in the world. You need to understand the television is "programmed" for what it wants you to believe. TV networks spend hours and days figuring out how to make you think with  broadcasts and subliminal programming with shows. The TV is one influence and of course it is not all negative. But the side affects create the problems in the world. There can also be negative influences at home or in the work place. Many spouses "criticize and complain" constantly. An entrpreneur learns to "tune" these vibes out and ignore them, and laugh them off.

11. PET PEEVES - Here are a few that you may or may not agree with.

* Get 7 - 8 hours of sleep each night. Go to bed at 9 P.M. if that is what it takes.

* Do not be late to anything, be early.

* Look people in the eye when you see them face to face.

* Buy the best technology products available.

* Dress appropriately at all times. Slobs are not respected.

* Take vitamins each day, and get some form of exercise each day.

* Do not talk on cellular telephones when you are with a group of people.

* Cherish time with your family and friends. You never know when life will change permanently. I feel we all have 100's of acquaintances and only 3 - 5 true friends.

* E mail administrative issues first, and call later.

12. YOUR OPINION - Everyone has one. And in our politically correct world where we do not want to offend anyone, people are afraid to say what they mean. My stand is, I really do not care what you think of me or what I am doing, as long as what I am doing is the correct, and proper action. There are three ways of doing things, the right way, wrong way, and my way. If you do not like "my way" that is fine, but as long as I feel "my way" is in the best interest of the people involved that is the way it is going to be done.

13. DEBT - Debt = Death - Debt = Bad - Debt = Poison
It is real simple. Get out of debt. You will not get into debt if you do not participate in it and have access to it. Pay in cash for as many items as possible, and do not finance routine expenses. Or course there are legitimate reasons for debt, but if you play in the game remember the following:

* loans are structured so you never pay them off.

* money doubles at 10% interest every 7 years. So if you have a Visa card at 20% interest with a balance of $10,000.00. You will have paid back $20,000.00 in only 3.5 short years. The $10,000.00 you borrowed will have doubled only after 1,277.00 days. Scary to think about.

14. SELF EMPLOYMENT - I encourage all people to have some type of self employed business "on the side" set up as an LLC, with business cards, web sites, etc. This way, you can never be fired and always have something to work on if you ever lose your job. I know someone now, who was laid off from his corporate America job, and now is sitting at home trying to start a business. If he had the business set up previously, he would have something to fall back on.  You can never be fired if you have your own business.

15. SERVICE INDUSTRY - From experience, get any and all proposals, bids, and agreements in writing with a dead line of the service. We live in a  world of people who say they can provide a service, but ultimately are subbing it out to someone else that is doing the work. Then we start playing games and no return telephone calls. Under no circumstance do you pay for services  until they are provided and completed 100%. Many times, you pay a contractor, and find the job is not done 100% and then are faced with re schedules, etc. Waste of your time to play these games. And if you have some form of written agreement, you have the facts to fall back on if there is trouble.

16. SQUEAKY WHEEL MANAGEMENT - This is as my Father would say, a "Reeseism" and it is a situation that has arisen in this cellular phone, wireless e mail, impatient digital world we live in. We all have many things to do every day both personally and business wise. And we all have distractions to keep us from completing tasks. How many times have you looked at a list of tasks and completed what is the "loudest" task at that time? What I mean by "loudest" is the boss is yelling for this one now. So you give priority to the one that needs to get done the fastest and blow off all of the others. This scenario is the way most people handle their daily routine. However, if you manage your time, and anticipate you can in a stress free environment not manage by who yells the loudest.

17. OUTLOOK ON THE FUTURE - I have a real estate background, and have been in the real estate business since 1989. Here are some of my projections: (REVISED June 2009)

* Interest rates will increase.

* Commercial real estate and residential real estate values will decline.

* Homes priced over $1,000,000.00 will continue to decline drastically in value. Who wants a property that costs a fortune to live in, in terms of repairs, taxes, and energy and drains the bank account?

* Homes in the FHA Insured Mortgage range will be steady mainly because the financing does not require 20% down. Mainly homes less than $500,000.00.

* Gas will increase to $4.00 - $5.00 per gallon.

* Daily living will cost more because of eventual hyper inflation. But for 2010 we will experience de flation with all non energy related products and services. Eventually, the U.S. Dollar is going to lose value across the board, and everything, I mean everything will cost more 2011 on into the future. Precious metals wil likely decrease in value as well.

* Energy costs will increase dramatically.

If you listen to many of the professional speakers like Tony Robbins, and Brian Tracy, they all tell you to find someone doing what you want to do, and copy that person. Reese is one of those persons people want to copy and emulate.

18. PERSONAL INFORMATION - Reese attended high school in Chattanooga, Tennessee and graduated from The McCallie School. He graduated from college in 1988 from Mercer University in 1988. Reese has been married since 2003 and has one child, Reese 4. He is a member of The Sea Island Golf Club - Sea Island, Georgia, and The Commerce Club - Atlanta, Georgia. 

Reese guards his success and plays his cards close to his vest at all times. He is a competitor, and he feels many people in the world are only trying to get free information from others so they can benefit by plagiarizing other people's work and ideas. The big secret is to not waste time, and work hard. We all have 24 hours and 7 days a week.
